Join Dawn for a fun and educational experience where you'll come to understand the cheesemaking process by creating your own fresh feta and squeaky cheddar curds.

Class size is limited to 8 maximum, and will be filled on a first-come basis.

You will learn the cheesemaking steps from the introduction of bacterial culture, right through to adding coagulants to create curds and whey. We will talk about food safety, the equipment needed to make cheese at home, and how you can find books and online references to continue on your cheesemaking journey.
You will take home a portion of the feta and salted, ready-to-eat cheddar curds as well as a worksheet on the cheesemaking steps and both recipes we used in class so you can make your own cheese whenever you'd like at home!
